98の場合は、SuperProbeはサポートしていないことが書いてありました。
xinitを起動した時のログを取りましたら、どうも、グラフックアクセラレータの
設定の所で、エラーになっているようです。

現在の設定、 /etc/XF86Config のグラフックアクセラレータ部分は

となり、通常なら、Chipset の処理になるところで、エラーとなっているので
すが、Trident社製TGUI9680を使っている方、教えていただけませんか。
