そうだったのですか。なぜか、sound-cardは、
インストール直後のモジュールを組み込めていなかった様な。
カーネルを再構築する際 ESS allegroの項目は、.configを読み込んでも
[Y] or [m}とも選択されていなかったです。それででしょうか？

つまり、上記の様にカーネルのモジュールでなく、ALSAドライバーを
ESS1988にmodules.confを書き換えてやってみればいい様な気がしてきました。

いえいえ、済みません。dmesgをよく見てなかったです。
このmailを頂いて、おやっと思い、dmesgを再確認、カードを差すと動いています！
いやー、嬉しいです。!(^^)!
