神戸大学の辰己です。

P-II x 2 (Iwillのマザボ)の方はうまくいったので、こんどは
IBM ThinkPad X24 で Plamo 3.2 の設定です。

まず、サウンドデバイスからです。

●1  kernel の recompile

次の alsa のコンパイルには、kernel recomplie しておかないとだめです。
(最初は modversions.h が出来ていないので、Alsaのコンパイルができない。)

reboot する。

を入れました。

●3  modules の設定

/etc/modules.conf に以下のように書いて、うまくいきました。

# ALSA portion
alias char-major-116 snd
alias snd-card-0 snd-intel8x0
# module options should go here

# OSS/Free portion
alias char-major-14 soundcore
alias sound-slot-0 snd-card-0

# card #1
alias sound-service-0-0 snd-mixer-oss
alias sound-service-0-1 snd-seq-oss
alias sound-service-0-3 snd-pcm-oss
alias sound-service-0-8 snd-seq-oss
alias sound-service-0-12 snd-pcm-oss

reboot する。

●4  aumix の導入と設定

これは、contrib/Sound/aumix.tgz を installpkg でオケー。

 aumix v 80

などとして、初期設定(最初はボリュームが0になっている)を解除。

●以上で、うまく動きます。

これから、PCMCIAの設定に入ります。
