 わたしも 4.1.0 を入れた当初 Vmware 3.0 で 「DGAが使えない」
と言われたので XF86Config をいろいろ見ていたら

    SubSection  "extmod"
      Option    "omit xfree86-dga"   # don't initialise the DGA extension

こうなっていましたので下のようにコメントアウトしてみたところ

DGAがVmware 3.0で有効になったのですがいかがでしょうか
